Two ships sailed from Iran, crossing the Strait of Hormuz despite the American blockade

Data from Kepler, a company specializing in ship tracking, reported on Tuesday that at least two ships sailed from Iranian ports and crossed the Strait of Hormuz on Monday, despite the US military blockade imposed on it.
Kepler reported that the cargo tanker “Christiana” flying the Liberian flag crossed the strategic strait after unloading its cargo of corn at Imam Khomeini Port, passing through the Iranian Lark Island at around 16:00 GMT on Monday. The American blockade had entered into force two hours earlier.
The data also showed that a second ship, the oil tanker “Elbes” flying the Comoros flag, was near Lark Island at around 11:00 GMT, and left the strait at around 16:00 GMT.
