Al-Wahda crosses Sharjah with a double and ignites the struggle for fourth place

Al-Wahda team temporarily regained fourth place in the ADNOC Professional Football League standings, after defeating its host, Sharjah, with two unanswered goals, in the match that brought together the two teams this evening at Sharjah Stadium, within the twenty-third round competitions, in the presence of about 1,700 spectators.

Al-Anabi raised its score to 39 points, climbing to fourth place temporarily, awaiting the result of the Al-Wasl match against Dibba, which will be held tomorrow at Zabeel Stadium, while Sharjah’s score froze at 25 points, falling to eighth place.

Caio Canedo opened the scoring early in the 18th minute, giving his team the advantage, before substitute Reza Gandipour added the second goal in the 90th minute (90+2), so that the “Excellences” settled the confrontation in their favor with confidence.
