المملكة: In numbers…the Kingdom records qualitative progress in the results of the Human Capital Index

The index is based on three main axes: education with a weight of 188 points, employment with a weight of 87 points, and health with a weight of 50 points, which makes education one of the most influential pillars in shaping the final results of the index.
Electronic services
The World Bank index differs from the Human Capital Index in the Digital Government Survey, in which UNESCO focuses on digital skills and the readiness of the population to use electronic services.
While the World Bank index measures the cumulative economic value of investing in people through education, health, and skills, the Digital Government Survey focuses on empowering individuals digitally and supporting digital transformation.
Developing education
This progress also comes in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which makes developing human capital and enhancing education essential pillars for building a competitive knowledge economy.
