"Influencers are the targets"..A new comment from Trump on the shooting in Washington
The American President considered The White House, in the latest episode of a series of incidents involving the President of America.
During a briefing at the White House after the shooting incident, a journalist asked Trump "Why do you think this happens to you again?"
In his answer, Trump (79 years old) linked these incidents to his position among presidents." target="_blank">The United Statesthroughout history, Trump said "Well, you know, I’ve studied assassinations… and I’m telling you that the most influential people, the ones who make the biggest impact, look at Abraham Lincoln… those who make the biggest impact, are the ones who get targeted.".
He added "I’m sorry to say I’m honored, but I’ve accomplished a lot. We have changed the country, and many people are not satisfied with that. So I think this is the answer"
Trump Assassination Attempt
Trump had previously survived an assassination attempt during an election rally in 2025. He said "I live a pretty normal life, even though it’s a risky one".
He added "A lot of people, you know…have a breakdown. Frankly, I’m not"Trump spoke appreciatively of the press he had previously considered "Enemy of the people"emphasizing synergy "An enormous amount of love and togetherness" After the incident.
Trump said that the venue for the dinner was at the Washington Hilton Hotel "It wasn’t safe enough"He considered that this confirms the necessity of building the new banquet hall that he is creating in the White House, whose cost is estimated at about 400 million dollars.
