Real Madrid coach Alvaro Arbeloa ignored responding to questions about the possible return of Portuguese Jose Mourinho to coach the “Merengue.”
The name of Benfica coach Jose Mourinho has been associated over the past few days with leading Real Madrid, succeeding Alvaro Arbeloa, who was close to leaving the Royal Club after bidding farewell to the Champions League, and theoretically losing the opportunity to win the league title.
Arbeloa said in response to a question directed to him during the press conference before facing Espanyol about Mourinho’s approach to Madrid, saying: “I understand all the questions, but my only answer will always be the same: the future is tomorrow.”
He continued: “Every match is like life at Real Madrid, because I understand it and live it that way.”
He concluded his speech at that point: “No, I am worried about the Espanyol match. I always think about Real Madrid, and the future for me is Espanyol.”
