Got Saudi airports received an environmental permit from the National Center for Environmental Compliance Control, under the supervision of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, in a step that raises the level of compliance and reduces environmental risks resulting from operational activities, in addition to implementing systematic environmental control that ensures efficient workflow and addresses cases of non-compliance in an organized manner.

The official spokesman for the center, Saad Al-Matrafi, explained that The General Authority of Civil Aviation, contributed in record time to raising rates of achievement and compliance, in addition to continuous follow-up of the implementation of integration with the Center, as it is a regulatory body that carries out the task of raising the level of environmental compliance for all activities and facilities that have an environmental impact, as the Center increased the number of those declared last year by 32% compared to the previous year, so that the number of environmentally declared establishments exceeded the barrier of 55 thousand establishments in all regions of the Kingdom, including all of the Kingdom’s airports.
