A dramatic match.. Manchester United relishes its victory over Liverpool 3-2

Manchester United renewed its victory over its guest Liverpool 3-2, today, Sunday, in the 35th stage of the English Football League, decisively returning to the Champions League competition.
After winning 2-1 at Anfield in the first leg last October, the Red Devils did it again for the first time in the league at Old Trafford since 2022.
United raised its score to 64 points in third place, six points behind Liverpool in fourth place, which may lose its position if Aston Villa achieves a positive result against Tottenham.
On the other hand, Liverpool, which was absent from Egyptian Mohamed Salah due to injury, suffered its first loss in the league after three victories, and the 11th in a volatile season in which it failed to defend the title.
Brazilian Matheus Cunha did not wait more than six minutes to open the scoring for the hosts with a shot from inside the area, but its trajectory changed after it hit Argentine Alexis McAllister and deceived goalkeeper Frederic Woodman (6).
Benjamin Shishko quickly added the second, when Portuguese Bruno Fernandes played him a ball that Woodman tried to clear, but the ball fell in front of the Czech striker, who knocked it into the net with his thigh. Liverpool players objected to the goal on the grounds that there was a handball on Shishko, but the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) confirmed the correctness of the main referee’s decision (14).
The Czech striker was unable to complete the match due to injury, so he was replaced at halftime by Ivorian Amad Diallo (46), who made a mistake as soon as he entered with a pass, after which Hungarian Dominik Soboszlai set off to score the goal to reduce the difference with a personal effort (47).
The scene was repeated with a new passing error, this time from Belgian goalkeeper Sinh Lamentz, who played the ball directly towards Mac Allister, who in turn passed it to Soboslai, who played it to Dutchman Cody Khakpo, realizing the equalizer (56).
The situation continued to turn around and Liverpool almost scored the third, once through Dutch defender Virgil van Dijk (64) and another through his compatriot Rein Grafenberg (70), while the Brazilian Casemiro tried from the other side to no avail (72).
Kobe Maino did it, scoring the third for United with a powerful low shot from the outskirts of the area to the right of Woodman, who remained in place, watching the ball enter his goal (77).
