Ruler of Umm Al Quwain: The unification of the armed forces is a turning point in protecting the state union and preserving its bases and independent entity
Umm Al Quwain, 5 May / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, confirmed that the anniversary of the unification of the Armed Forces is a commemorated day in the history of the United Arab Emirates, as the hands of all the people of the nation joined together under one banner to defend the union and provide security and safety so that everyone who lives on this precious land can work and strive with comfort, tranquility and high determination that contributed to achieving major achievements in a few years.
His Highness said in a speech on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the unification of the armed forces: Today we celebrate an important anniversary in the history of the UAE, which is the anniversary of the unification of the armed forces, which was a turning point in protecting the solid union of the country and preserving its bases and independent entity. With this event, the march of the fortified shield, the solid wall, and the safe hand over the nation’s gains and achievements began.
He added that on this occasion that is dear to the hearts of the people of the Emirates, we extend our highest congratulations and blessings to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and to his brother His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Presidential Office, and to their brothers, Their Highnesses, Members of the Supreme Federal Council, Rulers of the Emirates. The people of the Emirates, appreciating the exceptional and pioneering role of our Armed Forces in the national construction process, are proud of the achievements of its members in preserving the security of the nation and the safety of its lands, and their honorable role within international efforts to maintain peace and extend a helping hand to help brothers and friends regionally and internationally.
His Highness drew attention to the support given by the wise leadership to our valiant armed forces, and the attention, care and follow-up it provides to bring them to the ranks of advanced modern armies by providing them with all modern systems and equipment that ensure the strengthening of their position as a model for development and growth at various levels.
