Dibba coach: We achieved a fateful victory under terrible pressure… and Majidi: We were the best

Romanian Marius Panite, the coach of the Dibba team, described the victory that his team achieved over its guest, Al Bataeh, with a score of (2-1) this evening, Tuesday, in the 24th round of the professional league, as “very important,” stressing that it came at a difficult time and under tremendous psychological pressure.

In the press conference after the match, Panayet praised the level presented by his players, saying: “The players worked amazingly throughout the match. We entered the confrontation with one slogan: ‘To be or not to be’, and this determination was the real fuel to motivate everyone on the field.”
The Romanian coach also appreciated the great support that the team received from the club’s management, and specifically mentioned Ahmed Saeed Al-Dhanhani, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Dr. Hamdan Al-Ghasiya, the team’s supervisor, stressing that their support was decisive for him and the team alike, dedicating this victory to the loyal fans of Dibba and to the management.
With this victory, Dibba jumped from the last 14th place to the 12th place with 20 points, while Al Bataeh fell to the last place with 19 points, equal to Al Dhafra with the same score.

Majidi: The result does not reflect the performance
On the other hand, Iranian Farhad Majidi, coach of Al-Bataeh, expressed his satisfaction with his team’s performance despite the loss, indicating that his team was the better party in the confrontation.

Majidi said: “We were the best technically and created many scoring opportunities, but in contrast, Dibba Club took advantage of only two chances and turned them into two goals.” He concluded his speech by congratulating Dibba Club on the victory, thanking its players for the outstanding effort they made throughout the ninety minutes.
