"Abu Dhabi Health" Participates in the Milken Institute Global Conference in Los Angeles

Abu Dhabi, 7 May / WAM / The Department of Health in Abu Dhabi participated in the Milken Institute Global Conference 2026, which was held in Los Angeles from May 3 to 6, where it called for strengthening global partnerships and contributing to building, testing and expanding the next generation of healthcare solutions in Abu Dhabi.
His Excellency Mansour Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Chairman of the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi, confirmed during his participation in a dialogue session entitled “Reimagining the Concept of Healthcare for Abu Dhabi and the World” that Abu Dhabi has established its position as a leading global destination for medical innovations supported by artificial intelligence, based on a smart and integrated health infrastructure.
His Excellency said that artificial intelligence in Abu Dhabi represents a practical tool to make a tangible impact, by accelerating drug discovery by integrating genetic, clinical and wearable device data within a system supported by real-world evidence, enabling companies to evaluate the effectiveness of their products in real time, stressing that the emirate has become a global destination open to partnerships and innovation.
He added that Abu Dhabi has succeeded in integrating various types of health data into an integrated picture that allows for anticipating risks and continuously monitoring and analyzing health system indicators, pointing to the pivotal role of artificial intelligence in the Unified Medical Operations Command Center, which has enhanced operational capacity by forty-fold, and contributed to accelerating emergency response and providing smart care that begins from the moment the patient is in the ambulance.
His Excellency explained that the healthcare system in Abu Dhabi continues to accelerate the pace of development based on a long-term vision based on diversifying the economy and investing in technology, infrastructure and human competencies, stressing that the health system was designed according to an approach that focuses on prevention before treatment and enabling individuals to manage their health and enjoy a long, healthy life.
