Abu Dhabi, 7 May / WAM / The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, in cooperation with the Abdullah Al Ghurair Foundation and the IMI Media Academy, affiliated with the IMI Group, launched the national program “Industrial Content Leaders”, on the sidelines of the activities of the “Make in the Emirates 2026” platform, in a strategic step aimed at preparing an Emirati generation that possesses modern media narrative skills and is able to convey the story of the national industry in innovative ways that keep pace with the rapid transformations in the media and technology sectors.
The program aims to qualify young Emiratis and enable them to understand the vital industrial sectors in the country, and express them through creative content supported by artificial intelligence tools, which contributes to strengthening the industrial narrative of the UAE and consolidating its presence on the global industrial map.
The program also focuses on developing participants’ skills in creating specialized content and using the latest digital technologies, and deepening their knowledge of the role of national industry in supporting industrial competitiveness and enhancing the flexibility of supply chains, through a practical educational experience that combines industrial knowledge, media creativity, and the use of modern technology.
The program is based on three integrated stages, starting with knowledge foundation, through which participants learn about the concepts of the national industry and its most prominent sectors, followed by the media production stage using artificial intelligence tools, leading to the final stage in which young people develop national projects that they lead themselves, thus establishing a sustainable system for industrial content makers in the country.
His Excellency Osama Amir Fadl, Assistant Undersecretary for the Accelerators Sector at the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, said: “The “Industrial Content Leaders” program embodies the Ministry’s orientation towards investing in people and building an Emirati generation that possesses industrial awareness, digital skills, and the ability to express the story of the national industry in innovative ways. The industrial sector represents a major pillar in the country’s economic development process, and consolidating its understanding among new generations contributes to enhancing industrial culture and motivating them to contribute in the future to vital and advanced technological sectors.”
Dr. Sonia bin Jaafar, CEO of the Abdullah Al Ghurair Foundation, said: “The young Emiratis telling their nation’s story with their voices represents an extension and continuity of this story, noting that the partnership will allow participants to learn closely about the industrial transformation in the UAE, in addition to developing practical skills in artificial intelligence, media and storytelling. She added: The program will enable participants to contribute to documenting an important stage in the country’s development through the lens of a generation that grew up with its ambition and values, and bears the responsibility of transferring its story to the future.”
