"Dubai Holding" 15 startups selected for Circular Economy Program

Dubai, 8 May / WAM / Dubai Holding announced that 15 fast-growing companies have been selected from more than 1,400 companies from 93 countries to participate in the second edition of the “Innovate for Tomorrow” program, which aims to support innovation in the circular economy and promote sustainable solutions within the group’s business sectors.
The program is organized in partnership with the in5 business incubator of the TECOM Group, and in cooperation with Boltt, and aims to develop innovative solutions in the areas of reducing food loss and waste, recycling and renewing resources, and digital innovation for sustainability.
The program witnessed the participation of companies from several countries, including the UAE, India, the United Kingdom and South Africa, where applications were subjected to an evaluation process that included the expected impact of the proposed solutions, the level of innovation, scalability, and their suitability for the UAE market.
The selected companies will compete for prizes and financing with a total value of 850 thousand dirhams, while the winning company will get the opportunity to implement a pilot project within the “Dubai Holding” system.
The selected companies participated in a 12-week program during the period from January to April 2026, which included guidance sessions and specialized workshops under the supervision of experts and representatives of Dubai Holding, with the aim of developing business models, accelerating access to markets, and linking companies to investor networks.
The list of selected companies included startups from the UAE, Norway, India, Spain, Switzerland, Denmark, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, working in the fields of environmental technology, recycling, sustainability and digital innovation.
Dubai Holding confirmed that the program is in line with the UAE’s trends in supporting the circular economy and achieving the goals of the Climate Neutrality Strategy 2050 and the “UAE Centenary 2071.”
The program is scheduled to conclude in June 2026, with a final demo day, during which the five best companies will showcase their solutions to investors, partners and sector leaders.
