المملكة: The Foreign Minister and his British counterpart confirm the refusal to use "Hormuz" Pressure tool


He met with His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah , in the British capital, London today, the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs in Yvette Cooper.

Freedom of navigation in Hormuz

During the meeting, the two ministers stressed the need for concerted efforts to push the region towards achieving stability and peace, stressing the importance of ensuring freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, and rejecting its use as a tool for political or economic pressure that would disrupt international order and laws, and negatively affect the global trade movement.

The meeting was attended by His Royal Highness the Prince Abdullah bin Khalid bin Sultan, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the United Kingdom, Director General of the Office of His Highness the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Walid Al-Smail, and Advisor to His Highness the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Muhammad Al-Yahya.
