Arbeloa: Mourinho is the best

Real Madrid’s Spanish coach Alvaro Arbeloa commented on reports indicating that Portuguese Jose Mourinho will be the next coach of the Spanish team and will lead it to reform the situation, saying that he is the best.
Arbelo added in an introductory press conference for the team’s match against Seville in the Spanish League tomorrow, Sunday: “The club will make its decision about the coach for next season when it deems it appropriate. As for me, as a player and fan of Real Madrid, Mourinho is the best.”
He said in statements reported by “The Touch Line” website: “I thought so a month ago, and I still do. He is one of us, and he will always be. If he returns here next season, I will be very happy to have him return to his home.”
Alvaro Arbeloa also spoke about his communication with his French striker Kylian Mbappe since the recent controversy.
He said: “I saw him on my way here, and I asked him to calm down, and I told him that I would take care of it. I understand that such matters can make headlines.”
He added: “We discussed everything he said, so I accept it calmly. I understand how players feel when they do not participate in matches. Kylian was not happy in the previous match. For me, the matter is much simpler than what was portrayed.”
He continued: “It would have been better if he had participated a little in the second half; had it not been for tomorrow’s match, things would have been different, but that’s all there is to it. I see what happened in the past few days as completely normal. My relationship with Mbappe has not changed.”
Mbappe had made angry statements after participating as a substitute for about 20 minutes against Real Oviedo last Thursday in the Spanish League, where he told reporters, according to what BeIN Sports reported, that he did not suffer from physical problems, but he had become the coach’s fourth striker, after the Argentine Franco Mastantuno, the Brazilian Vinicius Junior, and the Spaniard Gonzalo Garcia.
He also said: “I was ready to play as a starter, but the decision is up to him, the coach, and he must always be respected.”
