This comes as part of its operational and awareness efforts to support the safety of the guests of God, and raise the readiness of the concerned authorities during the Hajj season.
Hajj Weather
During the announcement, the Center will review the climate forecasts and weather phenomena expected in the Holy Sites, in addition to temperature indicators, humidity levels, wind movement, and chances of cloud and dust formation, which contributes to strengthening field preparations and preventive plans related to the conditions.
The official spokesman for the National Center of Meteorology, Hussein bin Muhammad Al-Qahtani, explained that the center continues its operational work around the clock to serve the agencies working in Hajj, through an advanced system for monitoring and early warning and analyzing climate data.
He stressed that the anticipated announcement comes within an integrated system aimed at supporting the safety of pilgrims and enabling the competent authorities to take appropriate proactive measures in accordance with the expected weather data.
/>Al-Qahtani added that the center harnesses all its technical and human capabilities to monitor the weather situation during the Hajj season, in a way that enhances the efficiency of services provided to the pilgrims, and raises the level of readiness and coordination with various relevant authorities.
