Hazza bin Zayed witnesses the ceremony of crowning Al Ain Club with a title "ADNOC Professional League" For the 15th time in its history
Al Ain, May 16 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Al Ain region, today witnessed the crowning ceremony of the first football team of Al Ain Club with the ADNOC Professional League title for the 2025-2026 sports season, during the celebration held at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in the Al Ain region.
With this victory, Al Ain Club raised its tally to 39 titles in various official competitions throughout its history, after winning the league title for the fifteenth time, strengthening its record as the club with the most league titles in the history of Emirati football, in a new achievement that consolidates its professional status at the local and continental levels.
The ceremony also included a celebration of the club’s football school and academy teams, after a busy season during which these teams achieved a series of unprecedented achievements, including the under-23, 21, 19 and 17-year-old teams, in addition to the 16- and 15-year-old categories, in a scene that reflects the success of Al Ain Club’s integrated sports system in terms of developing players’ capabilities and investing in future talents.
His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan also honored the strategic partners and sponsors supporting Al Ain Club’s journey, in appreciation of their role in supporting the club’s journey and enhancing its successes. The list of honorees included ADNOC, First Abu Dhabi Bank, E& Company, the Tawazun Defense Empowerment Council “Tawazun”, “Imkan”, “SAS” Investment Company, “Al Ain Experience”, “Solutions+”, Emirates Airlines, and… Nike, Burjeel Holding Group, Gator, Hankook, and Al Ain Pharmacy.
On this occasion, His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan congratulated all Al Ain Club teams, fans and members on these achievements, praising the professional administrative work led by the club’s Board of Directors, headed by Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to strengthen the club’s position and consolidate its presence.
His Highness praised the advanced competitive level witnessed by UAE football, and the great efforts made by the UAE Football Association and the UAE Professional League in developing the football system, to raise the competitive level of local competitions and enhance the status of UAE football on the continent and internationally.
Amidst a large audience presence in the stands of Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium, the coronation night turned into a national sporting celebration that embodied the depth of the relationship between the club and its fans, in a night that carried messages of loyalty, belonging and ambition for the club to continue its journey and achieve more sporting achievements at all levels.
The celebration ceremony was attended by His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, President of the UAE Football Association; His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Ain Club; His Excellency Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Managing Director and CEO of ADNOC and its group of companies; His Excellency Abdullah Nasser Al Junaibi, First Vice President of the UAE Football Association and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the UAE Professional League; Along with a number of officials and members of the club’s board of directors and the administrative and technical staff.
