The rise of “The Hurricane” to the professional league pleases the entire city of Hatta

Vice President of Hatta Club, Juma Saeed Al Kaabi, considered the “Cyclone” victory over its host Al Dhaid 4-0, in the 28th round of the First Division League, last Friday, as the most important for the team during the season, as it brought them a big step closer to reaching the professional league. It also gave them the monopoly in second place with 53 points before two rounds of the end of the competitions, stressing that the team’s rise will please the entire city of Hatta.

Al-Kaabi stressed that all of the team’s victories during the season were important, but the last victory “had a special taste,” given its timing and its moral and competitive value.

Al Kaabi told Emirates Today: “The victory over Al Dhaid was not a surprise, even though the match was held at the competitor’s stadium, as the team presented a distinguished level and deserved to win after the great efforts made by the players, in addition to the high mental, technical and physical readiness, especially since the match was classified as very important for us.”

He added: “The most important thing for us was to get the three points regardless of the result, because the victory gave the team an important step towards ascending to the professional league and getting closer to achieving the goal of the season.” Regarding the two remaining matches against “City” and “Majd”, he said: “We will not think about the two matches together, but rather we will deal with each match separately.” Currently, our entire focus is on facing City next Saturday, which is a very important match, and we will prepare for it morally and technically as required, because it represents the penultimate stage towards the professionals.”

Al Kaabi pointed out that the team went through a period of great pressure before the Federation Cup final, due to playing a match every three days, which caused physical and mental pressure, especially with the competition on two fronts, but he stressed that the team succeeded in passing this stage thanks to the technical and psychological maturity of the players.

He continued: “The technical and administrative staff are focused only on how to achieve victory, without paying attention to the opponent’s circumstances, whether he is competing to stay or not, and our goal is clear, which is to score three points in every match.”

The Vice President of Hatta Club stressed the importance of the upcoming “City” confrontation, as it will be held in the penultimate round, indicating that the team seeks to maintain its chances in the promotion race, within the strong competition for the second qualifying ticket to the professional league.

Al Kaabi expressed his great happiness with the public support enjoyed by “The Hurricane,” stressing that the Hatta fans were present with the team in all circumstances.

He said: “The Hurricane fans love the entire city of Hatta, and they are the club’s people and its true support. We look forward to seeing them in the next confrontation with City with great passion, because the team’s rise will please the entire city of Hatta.”
