Japan draws with Sweden and together they qualify for the round of 32

The positive tie was decided by a goal-to-goal result in the strong confrontation that brought together the Japanese national team and its Swedish counterpart on the floor of the “Dallas Cowboys” stadium, in the third and final round of the group stage for Group Six in the 2026 World Cup.

With this result, the Japanese team raised its score to five points in second place in the group, while Sweden raised its score to 4 points to secure one of the best third places in the World Cup, and qualify with Japan to the round of 32.
