Mohamed Salah to the Egyptian fans: I am fine

Egyptian national team captain Mohamed Salah commented on his injury, saying: “I am fine, thank God,” in a reassuring signal to Egyptian football fans before the next confrontation against Australia. Salah was eliminated from the match against Iran in the third round of the Group G competitions in the 2026 World Cup in the 57th minute.
After being substituted, Salah appeared wearing an ice pack on his left thigh.
The Egyptian national team reserved a place in the knockout rounds before the start of the match, as it ranked second in Group Seven, and will face Australia in Dallas next Friday in the round of 32.
