I couldn’t resist Trump’s offer and wish I could “play golf” at the same level as him

Harry Kane, the England national football team striker, could not refuse the invitation of US President Donald Trump. At Trump’s request, the duo played a round of golf together in Florida.

Kane said about the meeting, before England faced Norway in the quarter-finals of the World Cup in Miami: “It was like a dream and unexpected to meet him.”

Trump had already revealed their recent round of golf, while Ken also praised the 80-year-old US President’s skills in the game, saying: “Honestly, he plays very well. I hope I can play at the same level when I reach his age.”

Kane (32 years old) revealed that the meeting took place when he was in Palm Beach about 18 months ago, and said: “It was a unique experience, and I was very grateful that he invited me to play.”

After England’s victory over Mexico in the round of 16 of the World Cup, Trump wrote on his “Truth Social” platform: “Harry Kane from England is a great player!!!” Shortly afterward, the US President told reporters: “I like him a lot. He’s a good golfer, and he’s really great.”
