Al-Ahly of Egypt and Trezeguet end the relationship by mutual consent after the World Cup

Al-Ahly Club announced, in an official statement, the termination of its contract with Egyptian national team star Mahmoud Hassan “Trezeguet”, by mutual consent between the two parties following the end of the team’s participation in the World Cup.

The club explained that the decision to terminate the contract came after discussions characterized by mutual understanding and respect, and ended with all financial matters being settled amicably, in light of the distinguished relationship between Al-Ahly and the player.

Al-Ahly confirmed its appreciation for what Trezeguet provided during his time with the team, thanking him for his efforts and contributions, and wishing him success in his next stop.

For his part, Trezeguet sent a message of thanks to the club’s management, the technical and administrative staff, and his fellow players, expressing his gratitude for the support he received throughout his career with the team. He also thanked Al-Ahly fans, stressing that wearing the club’s shirt will remain one of the most prominent milestones in his football career, and that he will continue to cherish all the moments he lived inside the Red Castle.
