Al Ain Municipality organizes an event to support farmers and enhance local production

Al Ain, July 16 / WAM / The “Our Farms Products 2026” event, organized by the Al Ain City Municipality, represented by the Community Services Operations Department, was launched today, and will continue until July 18 of this year in the Al Hayer Wedding Hall, from six to nine in the evening.

The event comes within the framework of the municipality’s efforts to support local farmers, encourage national production, and enhance community partnership in a way that contributes to achieving sustainable development and improving the quality of life.

Muhammad Al-Amri, Head of the Community Services Department at the Municipal Presence Center in Al-Heer, said that the event aims to provide a platform for farmers and agricultural project owners to display and market their local products, in a way that enhances their competitiveness and highlights their quality, in addition to encouraging community members to acquire national agricultural products.

He added that supporting local agricultural products contributes to empowering farmers and enhancing the sustainability of the agricultural sector, as well as supporting the food security system and consolidating the culture of consuming local products, thus enhancing its contribution to the national economy.

He pointed out that the event includes a variety of corners dedicated to displaying agricultural products, in addition to organizing community activities and interactive experiences that contribute to introducing visitors to the importance of local agriculture and its role in preserving natural resources and supporting the local economy.

The event falls within the municipality’s initiatives aimed at enhancing communication with community members and supporting local agricultural projects and initiatives, in line with the country’s trends towards achieving food and environmental sustainability.

The municipality invited community members to visit the event, benefit from the accompanying activities, and learn about the products offered by local farmers, reflecting the importance of the agricultural sector and its role in supporting the process of sustainable development.
