المملكة: Targeting school principals…a exploratory study to measure the attitudes of school leaders in Jeddah education

The General Administration of Education in Jeddah Governorate launched a survey study targeting male and female principals of public education schools in the governorate with the aim of measuring their attitudes towards educational performance through a set of basic elements including strategic planning, school calendar, supervisory model, change management, and professional licensing.

Follow up on the development of school performance

The study seeks to identify the opinions of school leaders and measure the effectiveness of current practices in developing school performance to achieve the highest standards of quality and excellence in the educational process.
It also aims to identify the challenges facing educational leaders and develop appropriate solutions to enhance performance and develop administrative and educational competencies.
The study comes within the framework of its continuous endeavor to support the development of the educational environment and raise the efficiency of institutional work in a way that contributes to improving the performance of schools and creating a stimulating educational environment for male and female students and male and female teachers alike.

Establishing an approved database

The administration indicated that the results of the study will form an accurate database that can be relied upon in developing development policies and specific training programs targeting school leaders, to ensure the fulfillment of professional licensing requirements and the effective activation of strategic planning and school evaluation tools.
The administration called on school principals and principals to actively participate in the study and submit the necessary proposals and data, with the aim of supporting the development process and achieving a qualitative shift in educational performance, in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which seeks to build a globally competitive educational system that fulfills the aspirations of society and enhances the position of education in national development. .
