The death toll from the Los Angeles fires has risen to 10

The number of victims of fires in the city of Los Angeles has risen to 10, according to what the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office announced last night.

Massive fires in the city of Los Angeles destroyed more than 10,000 buildings and many homes and vehicles, and caused the evacuation of tens of thousands of people.

The two main fires raging in the city remained out of control until yesterday, while in Hollywood the fire in the hills was brought under control, according to local authorities, and the evacuation order was lifted.

US President Joe Biden said, during a meeting held yesterday at the White House with officials concerned with managing these violent fires, that the fires currently sweeping the greater Los Angeles area are the most devastating in the history of California, adding that 360,000 people have been evacuated so far.
