Abu Dhabi, January 13 / WAM / The countdown to the Emirati-Qatari Super Cup has begun, in its second edition of the 2024-2025 season, which begins on January 16 and includes 4 strong confrontations between Emirati and Qatari teams.
All participating teams aspire to win the title and climb the podium, amid great anticipation and expected audience attendance in the four matches.

In this context, every technical director prepared for these confrontations, with strong preparations, and raised levels of concentration to enter the atmosphere of the awaited major event.
Al Rayyan and Shabab Al Ahly teams will begin the Super Championship in the confrontation, which will be held under the name “Challenge Shield,” which brings together the ADNOC Professional League runner-up and the Arid Stars League runner-up, on January 16 in Doha at Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium at exactly seven o’clock UAE time, six o’clock. Qatar time.
As for the second match, which will be held under the name “Super Cup,” it will bring together Al-Nasr, runner-up in the UAE President’s Cup, and Qatar Club, runner-up in the Emir of Qatar Cup, on January 17 in Dubai at Al Maktoum Stadium at exactly eight o’clock UAE time, seven o’clock Qatar time.

As for the Super Shield match, it will bring together Al Sadd, the holders of the Iridan Stars League, and Al Wasl, the champions of the ADNOC Professional League, on January 18 in Doha at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium, at eight o’clock UAE time, seven o’clock Qatar time.
The tournament will conclude with the “Challenge Cup” match between Al Wahda, champions of the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup, and Al Wakrah, champions of the Qatar Cup, on January 19 in Abu Dhabi, at Al Nahyan Stadium, at eight o’clock UAE time, seven o’clock Qatar time.
Shabab Al-Ahly won the “Emirati-Qatari” Super Shield title after defeating Al-Duhail 2-1 in the first edition, while Al-Arabi Qatar won the Qatari-Emirati Super Cup after defeating Al-Sharjah with an unanswered goal.
