The Handball Federation addresses the clubs to confirm participation in the African Cup Winners’ Club Championship
The Egyptian Handball Federation, headed by Khaled Fathi, today, Wednesday, sent letters to a number of clubs confirming participation in the African Cup Winners’ Cup for men and women, which is hosted by Al-Ahly Club during the period from May 14 to 24, 2025.
 
Al-Ittihad sent letters to the men’s clubs Sporting and Zamalek to confirm participation in the tournament, where Sporting is participating as champion of the Egypt Cup and Zamalek is participating as runner-up. For the Egyptian Cup champion, while Al-Ahly participates as the host of the tournament and the holder of the African Cup Winners’ Cup title.
In women, the Handball Federation addressed Al-Shams Clubs as runner-up to the Egyptian Cup champion and Sporting, which ranked third in the tournament. While Al-Ahly participates as champion of the Egypt Cup and host of the tournament.
It is worth noting that Al-Ahly Club is hosting the tournament and is also preceded by hosting the African Super Cup for men and women on 11 days. And next May 12 and 13, which is the qualifying tournament for the 2025 FIFA Club World Championship, which will be held in Egypt for the second year in a row.
