Ghobash heads the Federal National Council delegation to the Sultanate of Oman
ABU DHABI, 18th January, 2018 (WAM) – His Excellency Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council, heads the Council’s delegation, which today begins an official visit to the sisterly Sultanate of Oman, which will continue until January 21st, with the aim of strengthening bilateral brotherly and parliamentary relations between the two brotherly countries.
During the two visits, Ghobash is scheduled to hold discussion sessions with the heads of the State and Shura Councils, and meet a number of officials, with the aim of strengthening the established relations and strategic partnership between the UAE and the Sultanate of Oman, and the brotherhood, goals and common historical denominators that bring them together, and pushing it to broader horizons in the fields. various aspects through parliamentary diplomacy, especially through participation in regional and international parliamentary forums.
The Council’s delegation includes, in its membership, His Excellency Salem Hamad Al Ameri, Dr. Ahmed Eid Al Mansouri, Muhammad Hassan Al Dhahouri, Dr. Maryam Obaid Al Badawi, Mona Rashid Tahnoun, Saeed Rashid Al Abidi, Dr. Adnan Hamad Al Hammadi, members of the Federal National Council, and Dr. Omar Abdul Rahman Al Nuaimi. , Secretary-General of the Council, and Tariq Ahmed Al-Marzouqi, Assistant Secretary-General for Council Presidency Affairs.
