المملكة: Tomorrow … the announcement of the names of the winners of the King Faisal Prize for the Service of Islam

His Royal Highness Prince Turki Al -Faisal will chair tomorrow, Wednesday, January 29, the meeting of the King Faisal Award for the Service of Islam for the year 2025.
His Highness Prince Turki Al -Faisal announces the names of the selected winners, immediately after the committee meeting ends.
The King Faisal Prize for the Service of Islam is one of five awards presented by the King Faisal Charitable Foundation, to celebrate the exceptional contributions that left a profound impact on the global Islamic society.
The Islam Service Award embodies the basic message of the King Faisal Award, which aims to highlight the principles of Islam, to celebrate its role in enriching human knowledge and motivating future generations. The prize honors the prominent individuals and institutions whose scientific and practical efforts have left a great impact on Islam and Muslims around the world.

The Winter Selection Committee

The choice committee, whose meetings are chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Turki Al -Faisal, includes a group of prominent leaders and scholars from all over the Islamic world, and they are:

  • His Excellency Dr. Hussein Ibrahim Taha, Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation
  • His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al -Issa, Secretary General of the Islamic World League
  • His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abadi, Secretary General of the Muhammadiyah Association of Scholars
  • His Excellency Prof. Dr. Jumaa Dawood Salama, President of Al -Azhar University
  • His Eminence Sheikh Hussein Kfazovic, President of Scholars and General Mufti of Bosnia and Herzegovina
  • His Excellency Prof. Dr. Qutb Mustafa Sanu, Secretary General of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy
  • His Excellency Dr. Ismail Lutfi Jvakia, President of Fatani University
  • His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz Al -Sabeel, Secretary -General of the King Faisal Prize, a rapporteur for the committee.

Over the past 45 years, the Islam Service Prize honored 55 winners, from the leading world leaders, scientists and leading institutions.
Their achievements reflect a deep commitment to promoting Islamic principles and supporting development all over the world.

King Faisal Award

The King Faisal Award was established in 1977 by the King Faisal Charitable Foundation, and was first awarded in 1979. It aims to inspire contributions to civilization and enrich humanity through distinguished knowledge and service.
