The non -profit city of Mohammed bin Salman, “Misk City” during the period from tomorrow, 4 to 6 February 2025, will host the annual meeting of the Saudi Pharmacy Association Saif 2025 in its eighth edition, which is the largest professional gathering for pharmacists and health practitioners in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with the participation of a group of experts and specialists From inside and outside the Kingdom.
The meeting aims to enhance the quality of health services through the exchange of knowledge and experiences, discuss the latest developments in the field of pharmacy, and support innovation in the health sector, in line with the targets of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision aimed at developing the health care sector and achieving integration between the pharmaceutical, organizational and academic sectors.

Strategic platform

The head of the Organizing Committee for the annual meeting of Saifa 2025, Dr. Mona Al -Anzan, told Al -Youm: The annual meeting of the Saudi Pharmacy Association Seifa 2025 represents a strategic platform to enhance communication between the various pharmaceutical, health and organizational sectors, as it contributes to the development of professional and research practices in line with the Kingdom’s vision 2030.
The meeting aims to support innovation in the pharmacy sector and stimulate national competencies by providing specialized scientific programs, including interactive workshops, individual meetings with experts, and professional competitions aimed at refining skills and enhancing the competitiveness of pharmaceutical cadres at the local and international levels.

Specialized workshops

Al -Anzan added: “The meeting attracted more than 19 thousand participants, 553 speakers and 426 specialized scientific workshops, which reflects the increasing interest in developing the pharmacy sector in the Kingdom.
The event also provides great opportunities to build partnerships and enhance cooperation between academic institutions, health practitioners and the private sector, with the aim of raising the quality of pharmaceutical services and achieving integration between education outcomes and the actual needs of the labor market.

Al -Anzan indicated that the meeting is witnessing the presence of a group of experts and specialists from different countries of the world, which enhances the opportunities to exchange knowledge and experiences, and places the Kingdom in the ranks of the leading countries in the field of pharmaceutical innovation.
She also stressed that the Saudi Pharmacy Association is committed to continuing the development of its scientific and professional programs, and supporting all efforts that contribute to improving the level of health care and enhancing the research and development environment in the pharmaceutical field.
