Gulf Exchange for commodities announces the first trading on the alternative oil platform

Dubai, March 24 / WAM / The Gulf Commodities Exchange announced today the completion of the first successful trading deal through the alternative oil platform “ACE”, which provides customers with the opportunity to circulate a group of the most prominent oil raw materials in the Middle East according to the official price of Oman crude.

For the first time, the materials of Oman, Dubai, Basra Mediterranean, Heavy Basra, Zakum Al -Alawi, Moban, and Al -Shaheen are all available for trading on one platform, for the futures contracts for Oman crude from the Gulf Stock Exchange.

500 contracts from Oman Crude were traded in May 2025 on the alternative oil platform, which provides traders with the opportunity to perform bilateral trading operations for various oil materials in the Middle East for futures for Oman crude from the Gulf Stock Exchange.

Raed bin Khalifa Al -Salami, Director General of the Gulf Stock Exchange for Commodities, said that the conclusion of the first trading deal through the alternative oil platform is a major development in the scene of crude oil circulation in the region, for the first time that traders in the market are available to access a platform that combines the trading of futures and direct sales contracts, which enables customers on the stock market to improve their investment portfolios, and manage their investments through various types of crude oil, And seize new opportunities in the energy markets that are witnessing a continuous development.
