Ajman is going through a difficult stage…and needs quick intervention in the winter

The coach of the Ajman team, Serbian Goran Tovodic, revealed that the new loss his team suffered in the 14th round of the professional league against Shabab Al-Ahly, 0-1, yesterday, Wednesday, came at a very difficult time, indicating that the absence of victories put the team under great pressure, requiring rapid intervention during the winter transfer period to save the season. He stressed that the administration is currently working to finalize several files to strengthen the ranks as soon as possible.

Ajman continued its series of negative results after not achieving a win in the last five matches, as it lost four matches and tied in one, settling at 14 points in 11th place.

Goran told Emirates Al-Youm: “We are going through a very difficult period. The performance in some periods was good, but in the end we did not get points. Football does not depend only on playing well, but on exploiting opportunities and avoiding mistakes, and this is what we are currently lacking.”

The Serbian coach added that the situation requires quick intervention: “We know that we did not collect the required points in the last rounds, and this puts a lot of pressure on us. We must continue working and try to get the team back on the right track, but it is clear that we need new support in some positions during the winter transfer period.”

Regarding the possibility of new deals arriving soon, Goran said: “The management is working with all force to resolve some issues. We analyze the team’s needs daily, and I expect that we will see new additions in the coming days. We need players who will help the team improve its results and restore confidence.”

The coach concluded his speech: “We will not give up. There are still many stages in the season, and if the percentage of errors decreases and the level of concentration increases, we can move away from the lagging positions and return to the right path.”
