Stand up 12 hours .. A plane wing saves 3 people from death in Alaska
A pilot and two children survived a plane crash, and they remained stuck on her wing for 12 hours after falling and partially flooded it in a frozen lake in Alaska, before they were rescued after a passerby.
Terry Gods said that he saw a post on Facebook on Sunday evening calling for help to search for the missing plane.
On Monday morning, he headed towards Lake Tustomina near the edge of one of the ice rivers, where he hinted what he seemed to be the wreckage of the plane.
“I felt sad when I saw that, but when I approached more, I saw 3 people on the wing,” he added in a statement to the Associated Press on Tuesday.
He continued his approach to witness what he described as the miracle, and said: “They were alive, responding and moving,” noting that they waved him when he approached.
Recreational tour
The missing plane of the “Biber BA – 12 Super Cruiser”, which was led by a pilot with two members of his palace family, was on a luxury tour of the landscape on Sunday.
She set out from the city of Soldottna to Lake Skilak in the Kenai Peninsula.
