المملكة: King Abdulaziz University .. 6 research stickers at the “Geomatic Week” conference

King Abdulaziz University, represented by the Department of Geomatx at the Faculty of Architecture and Planning and the Information Systems Office of the possibility and remote sensing, participated in 6 research posters at the “Gomani” week conference organized by the International Federation for Survey and Air Imaging “ISPRS” within 209 posters representing a group of internationally advanced research, in the city of Dubai during the period from 6 to 11 April 2025 AD.
The posters are displayed in the conference sessions, as well as their adoption of publication within the ISPRS AnNALS and ISPRS Archives, internationally recognized as two reference platforms in the fields of geomatics, remote sensing, and air depictions.

Early stages

The participation recorded the presence of four of the accepted posters prepared by the first university students, which is an academic distinction that confirms the efficiency of the educational process at the university, and its ability to motivate its students towards research and creativity in the early stages of their academic career.
The participation of the King Abdulaziz University team during the conference, with the support of the General Authority for Survey and Information, was the possibility, in a step confirming the integration of efforts between higher education institutions and the relevant national bodies in highlighting Saudi competencies in international scientific forums.
The ISPRS conference is one of the most prominent international scientific gatherings in the fields of air imaging and geographical information systems, as it includes more than 30 working groups, and attracts a group of academics, experts and decision makers from different countries of the world.
