Riot events Al -Wasl and Al -Ahly youth match at the Disciplinary Committee table of the Football Association

“Emirates Today” learned that the events that accompanied the summit match yesterday, Saturday, between the Al-Wasl and Al-Ahly youth teams, which were held at the Zabeel Stadium in Dubai and ended with the victory of Al-Wasl 2-1 in round 23 of the ADNOC Professional Football League will be at the table of the disciplinary committee during its upcoming meeting to decide whether what happened between some of the fans of the two teams as well as some players.
The match was accompanied by skirmishes between some of the fans of the two teams, and the packages were also exchanged between two fans outside the field, and some projectiles were thrown towards a number of players.
It is expected that the observer of the match, which is considered his competence, has written all his notes on the events that occurred and raised them to the jurisdiction in the Football Association for consideration.
Al -Ahly youth fans were preparing to celebrate the league title outside its home at the Zabeel Stadium in the event that its team won the match, but his loss, which is his first in the league, postponed the celebrations of his fans officially, as Al -Ahly youth needed to win, score the match points, and raised his score 59 points to announce his crowning the title, but his score was frozen at 56 points, while Al -Wasl raised his score to 40 points in the third place.
It is expected that the match observer has written all his notes on the events that occurred and raised them to the jurisdiction in the Football Association for consideration.
For his part, former international referee Abdullah Al -Aji told «Emirates Today»: “The match observer will have written his notes on the matters that accompanied the match and thus submitted to the competent authorities in the Football Association.”
Al -Aji added: “All the things that occurred in the jurisdiction of the match observer are to write a full report in this regard or even riots that occur between some fans if they threw some things or pronouncing the players leaving the stadium and others.”
He continued: «The incident that occurred in the Al -Wasl and Al -Ahly youth match is impossible that there is no report on it, as the match was accompanied by a riot from some fans, along with other events that accompanied the match outside the field.
He continued: «In any case, the match observer has his role in such cases is to file a report on what happened in the match because his duties require him to submit a report in all cases.
He concluded: “The match was sensitive and important for the two teams, whether it was Al -Wasl or the youth of Al -Ahly and its owner, several quarrels in some fans.”
