“Messi” participates in the Sharjah International Chess Professors Championship

The eighth edition of the Sharjah International Chess Professors, organized by the Sharjah Chess Club, is witnessing the participation of the Argentine miracle, Uru Vostino, nicknamed “Messi Chess”, who is 12 years old, and is classified as the youngest player in history bypassing the classification barrier 2300 points, beating the previous record set by Uzbek Jawaher Sindarov by seven months.

He added: “I am following football in Argentina and I see that Messi is the best player in its history, but I do not have time to go to the stadiums and follow the matches because of the continuous training and study.”
He explained that he would go to Italy on the first of next June to play a friendly match with Indian Veswanathan Anand, the youngest chess player in the world, on the sidelines of the “Chess Roads” exhibition, which includes 40 rare and original chess groups from Asia and Europe.

The opening of the fourth round was attended by the first table in the first and second championships, Sheikha Ali Al -Naqbi, Chairman of the Education, Culture, Information and Youth Affairs Committee in the Consultative Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, and Amran Abdullah Al -Nuaimi, Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the Championship, while Sheikh Dr. Khalid bin Humaid Al -Nuaimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Chess Club, Chairman of the Arab Federation for the game, was keen The Pigge of the Chess Federation, while Eng. Talal Al -Zaabi opened the third championship between 1900 to 1400 points.
For her part, the head of the Education, Culture, Information and Youth Committee in the Consultative Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, Sheikha Ali Al -Naqbi, expressed her happiness at the headquarters of the Sharjah Chess Club and the opening of the fourth round of the championship, stressing that the visit comes within the field visits to cultural and sports institutions in the Emirate of Sharjah, but it coincided with the great global event that includes a group of players and players of chess in The world, which confirms the club’s ability to host the largest championships thanks to the organizational and administrative cadres and accumulated experiences, and we hope that this harvest will be crowned by winning more medals and achieving the achievements of the state.
