Nahyan bin Zayed honors the Emirati hostile Salem Al -Hashemi

Abu Dhabi, May 23/ WAM/ His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Foundation for Charitable and Humanitarian Works, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, honored Emirati Al -Muna’a Salem Abdullah Al -Hashemi, member of the Abu Dhabi Running Team, in appreciation of his global achievement in the series of the six major cities marathians, which is one of the most prominent and difficult championships in the world in the sport of running, which succeeded in ending. During the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed praised the great efforts made by Al -Hashemi, pointing out that this achievement embodies the spirit of persistence and determination enjoyed by the people of the Emirates, and their ability to represent the country in international forums in the best way, stressing His Highness that Al -Hashemi’s brilliance in this prestigious global series represents an inspiration for young athletes, and enhances the position of community sport and competitiveness in the UAE.
His Highness stressed that supporting national competencies in various fields, especially in the sports sector, is one of the priorities that the Abu Dhabi Sports Council is keen, in line with the guidance of the wise leadership that takes care of the athletes and enabling them of great importance and priority.
His Highness pointed out that the stories of success, such as the story of hostility, Salem Al Hashemi, reflect the fruits of investment in community and professional sport, and demonstrate the ability of the Emirates people to achieve qualitative achievements in the most difficult international competitions, thanks to the supportive environment and proper guidance.
His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan also received the Abu Dhabi Sports Council team, and His Highness praised the great efforts made by those in charge of organizing societal events, praising the vital role of these activities in spreading awareness of the importance of sport, and motivating community members to adopt an active and healthy lifestyle, as well as discovering and refining talents in a supportive and stimulating environment.

His Highness expressed his thanks and appreciation to all the work teams and departments concerned for their dedication and continuous commitment to achieving the ambitious sporting and societal goals of the emirate.
For his part, Salem Al -Hashemi expressed his great gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed for this honor, stressing that the support of the rational leadership and the continuous interest from the Abu Dhabi Sports Council had the biggest role in achieving this sporting dream, noting that his participation in the New York, Boston, Berlin, Chicago, Tokyo and London was a unique experience and a great challenge, which enabled it to develop its level and gain experiences High international.
Al -Hashemi pointed out the importance of the support and encouragement he enjoys from his colleagues in the Abu Dhabi running team, in addition to his permanent participation in the societal races organized by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, which is an incubator environment for talents and a major catalyst for excellence and sports commitment.
It is noteworthy that Salem Al -Hashemi, who works as an engineer at Taqah Distribution Company, started his sporting career as a football player in the various Sunni stages of Al -Wahda Club, then as an anti -running sport before turning into one of the most prominent Emirati counts at the local and international levels, which makes him a successful model in reconciling his work and the sporting achievement he achieved.
