The start of the World Facilities Conference 2025 in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, May 27/ WAM/ The activities of the World Facilities Conference 2025, which will be held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, were launched under the slogan “Innovation for a new era in the utilities sector”, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center and will continue until May 29.

More than 1,400 specialists and 500 speakers and experts from the utilities sector from all over the world participate in the conference, and discussions revolve around advancing sustainable growth through relying on renewable energy, technology and cooperation between various sectors.

The conference deals with how facilities companies respond to meet the increasing demand for electricity, driven by digital transformation, electrical transmission and rapid urban growth, while increasing the production of renewable energy and enhancing the flexibility of water systems, and in light of the expectations that indicate an increase in global electricity consumption for more than twice by 2050.

Strategic sessions focus on building flexible networks supported by digital solutions, financing major infrastructure projects, and providing effective facilities and affordable prices in an increasingly complex operating environment.

The conference program focuses on technologies that contribute to drawing the features of the next stage within the sector, starting from artificial intelligence and advanced water desalination technologies, to decentralized energy systems and clean hydrogen applications, as well as ways to enable policy -making frameworks and investment models required to transform ambitious aspirations into reality.
