20 Emirati designers review designs inspired by the local environment during the watch fair

Sharjah on June 1 / WAM / The 55th edition of the Middle East Watch and Jewelery Exhibition at the Expo Center Sharjah is witnessing 20 young Emirati designers and talents presented a presentation of their latest innovative collections of gold and diamond jewelry with a global nature, and unique designs inspired by Emirati heritage, under the umbrella of the “Emirates Graphics” platform provided by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sharjah, in an effort to provide opportunities for local talents in the field of jewelry and highlight them in front of the participants in the event, which collected more than 500 exhibitors from the countries of the region and the world.
The “Emirates Graduate” platform this year recorded new posts for designers from different emirates of the country, they provided designs inspired by the local environment and cultural heritage, made of gold and gemstones, where the works of the families produced from Al -Tali in innovative designs and contemporary styles were employed, and among the most prominent pieces offered, Mesbah Zayed, “Palm necklace”, design of the well, ” Emirati “and other unique designs that were characterized by absolute and craftsmanship.
His Excellency Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chairman of the Sharjah Expo Center, stressed that the Sharjah Chamber attaches utmost importance to enabling young national talents and enhancing its presence in various economic sectors, especially in the gold and jewelry sector, which is witnessing an accelerated development and increasing demand by the Emirati competencies, and from here came the Emirates formula platform to embody this trend, where it has become a major platform today For Emirati creators in this important sector, as the number of affiliates for the “UAE’s goldsmiths” has reached about 400 designers from different emirates of the country, which reflects the success of the platform in attracting competencies and providing a vital and integrated environment to support their projects and enhance their competitiveness in the local and regional market.
For his part, His Excellency Saif Mohamed Al -Midfa, CEO of the Sharjah Expo Center, pointed out that the exhibition continues to establish its position as a leading regional and global destination in the jewelry and watches, and we are pleased to witness in its current session a distinguished participation of Emirati designers, who have provided distinctive creative models, indicating that the participation of Emirati talents within an international event includes more than 500 exhibitors from different parts The world, stresses the importance of the exhibition as an incubator for young creators, talents, and a distinguished platform that provides an opportunity for them to appear strongly and highlight their talents and creativity, as well as see the experiences of the great exhibitors in this industry and communicate with them in order to exchange experiences and refine their skills.
Mona Al -Suwaidi, Director of the Executive Office of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Chamber, confirmed the official of the “Emirates Formula” platform that the platform continues to perform its role in supporting and empowering Emirati designers and providing a stimulating environment for innovation and growth, as we witnessed this year a remarkable development in the experiences of a number of designers who have previously participated in the platform, where today they are one of the major participations in the exhibition, and we have succeeded in establishing their trademarks of their own Her presence in the local market has proven, which we consider to be one of the most prominent indicators of the success of the platform and its positive impact on the march of the partners, noting that the “Emirates Fragrance” this year paid special attention to support the projects of productive families, by merging the Emirati traditional crafts and artifacts in modern designs of gold and jewelry presented by designers in a manner that links the past with the present, and gives these traditional forestry New dimensions in terms of sustainability and innovation.
The designer, Mahra Al -Muhairbi, the founder of the Nol Jewelry Project, which participates for the first time in the exhibition, thanked the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry in providing her with the opportunity and colleagues to participate in the Middle East Watch and Jewelery Exhibition within the Emirates Graphics platform.
Nouf Al -Kiumi explained Marj Jewelry founder that her participation in the exhibition included the presentation of distinguished groups of gold artifacts whose designs were inspired by the history of the ancient Emirates and its cultural and rich symbols, the most prominent of which is the Oud Group and the steps of palm trees.
Designer Sawsan Al -Jabri indicated that the designs she presented during her participation are inspired by the “Water of Water”, with the symbolism it is manifested in the stiffness of its walls and depth that expresses hope and life, as it was used in the implementation of these designs in 18 -karat gold, along with carefully selected gem.
The youngest designer Mira Youssef Al -Makhiri jewelry said that she presented this year a new design made of gold that embodies the shape of the palm tree, as his idea was inspired during her visit to Lake Khaled in Sharjah, as she was affected by the beauty of nature and the reflection of palm trees on the water page, so this moment was reduced to an artistic piece that expresses the Emirati environment in a contemporary creative style.
