Abdullah Al -Hamid opens the office of the Emirates Media Council in Dubai Internet

Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Butti Al -Hamid, Chairman of the National Media Office, Chairman of the Emirates Media Council, opened the council office in Dubai Internet City, as part of his directions aimed at consolidating a flexible and effective work environment, supporting competencies, attracting talents and experiences, and keeping pace with the rapid transformations in the media industry.
The opening ceremony was attended by Mohammed Saeed Al -Shehhi, Secretary -General of the Emirates Media Council, Maitha Majid Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of the Strategy and Media Policies Sector, Abdullah Balhll, CEO of Tikom Group, Majed Al Suwaidi, Director General of Dubai Media City, and Ammar Al Malik, Executive Vice President of Commercial Leasing in the Tikom Group.
He toured the facilities of the new office, which enjoys a strategic location in the heart of one of the most prominent international media gatherings, in order to enhance the council’s ability to build effective partnerships with leading institutions, and its role in anticipating the future of the media and organizing it efficiently and flexible.
The new headquarters embodies the council’s tendencies towards developing the institutional structure to serve its strategic goals.
In his meeting with the council employees, he stressed that the opening of the headquarters comes as a translation of the council’s vision in providing an advanced and stimulating organizational environment, which invests in national competencies, and gives it the full area of creativity, initiative and active participation in developing the media system.
He stressed the importance of preserving the momentum that was launched with the founding of the council, and redoubling efforts during the next stage, especially in implementing media policies and initiatives that embody the new media system, with its integrated legislation and services that contribute to enhancing the competitiveness of the sector, stimulating its growth, and opening new horizons for local content and emerging projects.
