The General Command of Abu Dhabi Police and the Abu Dhabi City Defense Authority launched a campaign “Don’t hesitate … Wipe the Road immediately”, targeting the promotion of the culture of rapid response to emergency vehicles, using artificial intelligence and advanced interactive techniques.

Abu Dhabi Police has identified 6 important guidelines that drivers must adhere to, which is:

The first (on the main roads): Emergency cars use the left path in the main roads, and drivers must make room for them to move to the right track as soon as they are approaching.

The second (when crowding): It must be fully committed to not using the road shoulder in order to use it from emergency vehicles.
The third (in the internal roads): The drivers must open the road to emergency cars while they are moving to the right and right between the vehicles in the internal roads that do not have a road shoulder.
Fourth (at the intersections of roads): where vehicles in the side roads with a green signal must stop completely and wait until the crossing of emergency vehicles that may cross the red light signal and they often stop for a while and then continue their movement with caution.
Fifth (in Al -Mayadeen and Al -Dawar): Emergency vehicles enter the roundabouts with caution and then make their way, and the rest of the cars, upon seeing them, must make room for them not to enter the roundabout and give them traffic priority.
As for the cars inside the roundabout, they continue to move forward with the road to the right at the first opportunity.
Sixth (on dual road roads with one path): Emergency cars make their way between cars in the middle of the road, and on other cars that precede them to move to the far right without getting out of the road shoulder, and the corresponding cars must be moved in the opposite track to the far right to make room for them.

The “Do not hesitate … Wipe the Road immediately”, has employed multi -language systems, capable of addressing members of society in their motherlands, ensuring the arrival of awareness messages for all communities and residents.

The campaign includes through its account on the communication sites GivewayadDisplayed extension films with artificial intelligence technology AIAnd awareness films 3DAnd short Animation clips, which include interactive and awareness messages in multiple languages, including English, Urdu, and Bengali, explaining the mechanism of giving up ambulances, police and firefighting in various traffic scenarios.

On social media platforms, Abu Dhabi Police published creative content bearing the campaign messages in high -resolution visual and sound formulas, supported by lively representative scenes and realistic simulation of emergency situations, in a move aimed at enhancing the sense of responsibility among drivers, especially in the critical moments that may save a human life.

Educational campaigns, indicative sessions, and awareness workshops will also be organized on various digital platforms.

Within the comprehensive awareness campaign plan, huge awareness panels were installed, and the campaign pictures on vehicles and trucks, in addition to spreading them on the main roads, with the aim of delivering visual messages to the largest possible segment of road users.

These field moves have contributed to enhancing the presence of the campaign in the daily life of drivers, and motivating them to take a quick and correct reaction when the emergency vehicles approach.

The campaign aims to make the way to make the way for emergency vehicles a civilized behavior that reflects the awareness of society, the importance of a sense of collective responsibility, and the upgrading of the road behavior in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, which has become a model of intelligent safety and response.

Abu Dhabi Police has confirmed that the lack of disruption for emergency vehicles is a grave violation, with a gram of 3000 dirhams, with the vehicle’s reservation for 30 days, and 6 black traffic points, stressing that the delay in making the road may mean delay in saving a patient, controlling a fire, or responding to a distress call.

It is noteworthy that the campaign that lasts for a period of 6 months came in cooperation with a number of parties, which is the “Department of Health”, and the “Municipalities and Transport Department” represented in the integrated transportation center (Abu Dhabi Transport), and comes in line with the government’s goals aimed at strengthening and raising societal awareness of the importance of making the way for vehicles and emergency mechanisms to ensure their arrival at accident sites in the fastest time to save lives and property.
