& nbsp; Fastness for emergency cases and saving life, as the initiative comes within the framework of the cooperation protocol between the ministries of health, youth and sports, and the scientific institution for the heart and arteries, and aims to train cadres within government facilities and youth centers in the various governorates of the Republic, in a way that enhances the efficiency of the initial response to emergency cases in the positions of public gatherings. A qualitative shift in the path of societal protection from heart attacks, especially with statistics that indicate that approximately 55 thousand citizens lose their lives annually in Egypt as a result of sudden heart attack, including 20% ​​due to ventricular fibrillation, adding that rapid intervention using AED can raise the chances of survival to more than 90%. And the population, by creating an electronic application on mobile phones that carries all the information and instructions related to the methods of rapid intervention, the use of external fibrillation deodorant devices, and the guide of first aid procedures, which facilitates the access of information to citizens and trained cadres at any time. Care centers and emergency facilities, in addition to the major gatherings sites, with the aim of reducing the time of response and increasing the chances of survival in emergency situations. During the celebration, Dr. Hazem Khamis, Chairman of the Medical Committee at the Ministry of Youth and Sports and a member of the Scientific Cardiac and Article Foundation, reviewed the active role of the initiative in raising the level of awareness and positive impact on reducing the death rates resulting from the sudden heart attack, indicating that the AED device is an easy -to -use electronic tool that analyzes the heart rhythm and provides electric shock when needed to restore the heart to its rhythm Naturally, and that the availability of these devices in public sites can make a decisive difference in the first critical minutes, thanking the Ministry of Health and Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, for his interest in the initiative, stressing that the presence of a national initiative for cardiac resuscitation and awareness of sudden cardiac death represents a long -awaited dream and constitutes a qualitative step in societal protection efforts. And professor of cardiology at Alexandria University, that the initiative represents a practical translation of a scientific vision that seeks to reduce the deaths caused by sudden heart attack, by spreading a culture of rapid intervention and expanding the scope of the use of cardiac defibrustion devices (AED) in public places, adding that the initiative was prepared and designed in coordination with the competent European societies, to ensure a sound and effective scientific start, indicating to The Foundation’s readiness to provide all forms of training and scientific support, in addition to the necessary expertise to qualify the cadres trained in cardiac resuscitation skills.
