“The Hand of Sharjah” maintains the services of the makers and Fayez

A member of the team of collective games at Sharjah Club, handball supervisor, Jassim Mohamed, confirmed the continuation of the Tunisian professional Mesbah Al -San’i, and the Egyptian Mahmoud Fayez (the country’s birth category), with the team in the next season, and the approach during the next few days to announce the identity of the third professional, to close the contract file at the level of foreign players.

Jassim Mohamed told «Emirates Today»: “The Tunisian maker continues with the team next season, in addition to maintaining the services of Mahmoud Fayez, in light of the distinguished levels offered by the two players, which were crowned with the most important achievement in the history of Emirati handball, crowning (King) last November, champion of the Asian Clubs Champions League.”

He added, “On July 20, the team will inaugurate its preparations for the entitlement of a busy season, most notably the World Championship (Super Globe), which will be held early next year in Croatia, Denmark and Norway.”

He explained that «the preparation for participation in the World Cup clubs was the reason behind the announcement at the beginning of this month about major changes in the technical staff, most notably the official contract with the coach of the Brazilian national team, Marcus Ricardo de Oliveira, famous for (Tata), in addition to strengthening the team’s ranks by contracting the national team goalkeeper, Ahmed Salem Al -Khulaifi, who came from Al Ain Club, who played last season loaned to Maliha Club.

He continued: «The new coach will officially start his duties on July 17, through the stage of physical preparation, followed by the stage of lifting readiness, by searching for friendly matches preceding the start of the season in late August, within the stage (Al Watan Cup) from the 2024-2025 season, through which the team will be determined that will play the (UAE Super Cup), after which the league competitions will be launched in the new system, where it seeks (King) to defend his title. ”

Jassim pointed out that the team has become in the final stages of preparation for the World Cup entitlement, and said: “The location of the external camp that precedes the launch of (Super Globe) will be located about 10 days, based on the available options, and patrol programs in the Arab region and neighboring countries.”

It is noteworthy that the Sharjah team crowned, last November, the Asian Clubs Championships Championships in its 27th edition, after its victory in the final over the Saudi Gulf (27-26), to get the Asian continent’s representation card in the Club World Cup (Super Globe), in a new challenge against the strongest clubs on the international scene.
