The UAE team won 16 medals and leads the men’s category in “Asia Mawy Tai”

The UAE national team achieved a remarkable achievement at the end of its participation in the Asian Mi -Tai Championship, which was held for six days in the Vietnamese capital, Hanoi, under the supervision of the international and Asian federations of the game, after winning 16 various medals and issued the overall ranking of the men’s category.

The outcome of the national team included 8 gold medals, 4 silver, and 4 bronzes, in addition to winning the “Best Continental Team” award, while the player Mohamed Jafla won the award for “Best Young Fighter in Asia”, in confirmation at the distinguished technical level presented by the Emirates team in the tournament.

The gold medals came through the players Mohamed Mardi, Mohamed Jaflh, Ayoub Al -Bernoussi, Ravi Ramzi, Mohamed Karimi, Imad Youssef and Zainab Boukhamada, in addition to the gold of the “Mai Mai” competition for the teams scored by the duo Salama Al -Junaibi and Maryam Hassan.

The silver medals were achieved by Elias Habib Ali, Abdel -Saqar Ahmed, Yassin Karimi, and Salama Al -Junaibi, in the “Wi -Crow” competition, while the bronze medals won: Ibrahim Bilal in “Al -Ma’i Tae”, Maryam Hassan in the “Wi -Crow” competition, Mohamed Toumi and Abdel -Star Ahmed in the “Mai Mai” competition, Mohamed Karimi and Yassin Karimi in “Maay Mai” For the difference.

This achievement is the largest of an Arab team in the history of the Asian Mawy Tai Championship, and reflects the great development witnessed by the Emirati “Moa Tai” sport since the founding of the federation in 2017, as the team has been able to consolidate its presence in continental and international forums.

For his part, the President of the Asian and Arab Federations for Moe Tai, President of the Emirates Mawy Tai and Cake Boxing, Abdullah Saeed Al -Neyadi, stressed that the distinguished performance of the team in the tournament came the fruit of early planning and good preparation, indicating that what was achieved in less than 20 days, after the team participated in the World Championship in Turkey, in which he won sixth place in 11 medals, reflects the readiness of the players and their ability to compete in the forums International.

He pointed out that the achievements are a real pride for Emirati sport, and reflect the continuous aspirations of the sport of Mai Tai and Cake Boxing in enhancing the state’s position on the international scene.
