Belhaif Al -Nuaimi: "Emirates Vision 2031" A bridge towards a global knowledge economy

Dubai, June 28/ WAM/ His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Belhaif Al -Nuaimi, Chairman of the Consultative Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, confirmed that the UAE Vision 2031 is no longer just a future ambition, but has become a living framework vibrant with the national determination that is embodied in all state institutions and is based on clear pillars that the UAE submitted with confidence towards the future along with being a bridge towards a global knowledge economy.

Belhaif Al -Nuaimi said during his participation in the “WIL World Economy Forum”, which was held last night in Dubai under the title “The Bridge towards the UAE Vision 2031” that building the bridge about 2031 is not just a time crossing but rather a national path based on innovation, diversity, sustainability and institutional integrity.

His Excellency touched on five main axes on which the first axis is based on redefining the concept of prosperity through economic diversification and flexible growth. In the second axis, Dr. Belhaif Al -Naimi dealt with sustainable urban development as one of the most important pillars of the bridge towards the future, stressing the importance of developing smart and flexible cities that depend on clean energy, innovations of movement and environmental harmony, in complete harmony with the goals of “climate neutrality 2050” and the national energy strategy, pointing to the need to integrate environmental and social governance standards and digital preparation in real estate and infrastructure sectors and logistical services To ensure balanced environmental and economic sustainability.

His Excellency focused on the third axis on enabling human capital, describing human competencies as the true wealth on which the UAE is building its future, pointing out that preparing a skilled working force supported by lifelong learning and global openness is one of the basic goals in this regard and pointed to the country’s aspiration to be among the 10 best countries in human development and retaining digital talents.

He called for the adoption of comprehensive programs to develop skills, support national talent, and enable tomorrow’s leaders to face challenges.

In the context of the fourth axis, he reviewed the importance of global innovation and competitiveness, pointing out that the UAE is moving in an accelerated pace to become a global platform for organizational and technical innovation, especially in the areas of artificial intelligence and biotechnology, noting that the flexibility of national governance enables the design of future applicable solutions.

He called for strengthening partnerships between universities and the governmental and private sectors in order to produce a common intellectual capital that leads the cognitive transformation in the region.

In the fifth axis, which relates to “environmental sustainability and food security”, His Excellency stressed that the UAE looks at sustainability as a competitive advantage and is not a developmental burden, noting its endeavor to enter the list of the 10 best countries globally in food security, water efficiency and adaptation to climate change and stressed the importance of adopting the models of the circular economy and smart agriculture climbing and solutions to reuse resources to achieve safety Environmental and economic together.
