Singapore, June 30/ WAM/ The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security, “Smart Travel Project”, one of the world’s leading innovative projects, reviewed the activities of the government communication conference “Govmedia” recently held in Singapore.
The smart travel project during the conference received wide attention by the participating delegations, and many countries affirmed their keenness to exchange information, experiences and experiences with the authority in this field and its desire to see the experience on the ground and benefit from it in developing their travel and aviation systems.
The delegation of the authority participating in the conference, during its review of the project’s advantages, stressed that the smart travel system implemented by the authority at Zayed International Airport is one of the most leading projects that the travel and global aviation sector has witnessed in recent years, explaining that the project guarantees the development of innovative smart systems using the latest technologies of artificial intelligence and analyzing huge data, to achieve the highest levels of efficiency and improve the quality of services provided to travelers in state outlets, which contributed to travelers obtaining A comfortable, safe and fast travel trip, in addition to significantly reducing operational costs, achieving the full independence of the smart ports system, working with greater efficiency and flexibility, and enhancing the ability to adapt and align with future developments.
The authority’s delegation explained that the smart travel project provides a set of strategic advantages for both the authority and travelers, the most important of which is the activation of self -services for travelers in the ports, travel without using documents, and reducing the time taken to obtain services provided to travelers, in addition to the ease of using vital data, and optimal exploitation of human resources. He noted that the smart travel project includes 3 basic stages that start with the stage of airline procedures that include registration before traveling, reception and entry of passengers and self -service to remove bags, while the second stage includes passport procedures that relate to identifying travelers through the fingerprint of the face, pre -examination, monitoring passports and verifying the validity of the passport before going up to the plane.
