UAE players are achieving distinguished results in the World Championships of Snooker in Bahrain

Manama, July 15 / WAM / The UAE National Snooker player, Mohamed Shehab, qualified for the 16th round of the “Master” category in the World Championships of the Snooker, currently held in the Bahraini capital, Manama, after achieving 3 consecutive victories in the first round of the eighth group.
The championship, organized by the International Billiards and Snooker Federation during the period from 13 to 24 July, will participate in the championship, which includes competitions for the “master”, “6 balls” and “junior” categories.
Shehab achieved a strong start by overcoming Sri Lankan Thosetha Robaji, 3-0, then defeated Irish Victor McCoramak, 3-1, before concluding his series of victories by defeating Qatari Ahmed Saif, with the same result.
In the same category, and within the fourth group, Issa Al-Hashemi achieved his second consecutive victory by defeating Indian Roche Jain, 3-1, after his victory in the first round against the Bengladeshi Al-Salehin, 3-0.
For his part, Mohamed Al -Joker qualified for the 24th round of his second group, despite his loss to Bahraini Habib Sabah, where he faces the next round of Bahraini Bonnet Saqr.
Today, the junior category under 17 years will start, where the UAE national team player, Mohamed Omar Al -Rumaithi, will play two games against Sri Lanki and Yitlod Pesterski and Pakistani Mohamed Hassanein.
