235 players and players participate in "Arabic chess" In Morocco

Casablanca on July 20 / WAM / The Arab Chess Championship for Age groups will start tomorrow from 8 to 18 years for males and females organized by the Arab Chess Federation headed by Sheikh Dr. Khaled bin Humaid Al Qasimi in cooperation with the Royal Moroccan Chess University and continues until July 28 and is hosted by the city of Casablanca with the participation of 235 players and players representing a group of promising heroes from 16 Arab countries competing for prizes Finance of 14700 thousand dollars.
The Royal Moroccan Chess University has completed all arrangements for the tournament. The organizing committee is chaired by Bushra Al -Qadri, President of the Royal Moroccan University, and the championship is managed by Salim Belkadi.
The first day of the tournament is witnessing one round, provided that the second and third rounds will be held the next day, then one round will be held on the third day of competitions, which is repeated on the fourth day, which is the day that witnesses a ceremony in honor of the participants, while the sixth round will be held in the evening period of the fifth day of the tournament, then two rounds in the penultimate day, while the ninth and final round will be held on July 27 this year followed by the award ceremony.
Sheikh Dr. Khaled bin Humaid Al Qasimi thanked the Royal Moroccan University for hosting the Arab event, stressing that this session is a distinctive festive nature, as it coincides with the celebration of the International Chess Day, which falls on July 20 of each year, as well as being a special occasion to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the founding of the Arab Chess Federation.
He added that the championship aims to refine the skills of young heroes to enable them to friction at an early age, as it represents an opportunity to exchange experiences and enhance mathematical and cultural relations between the participating countries, as it gives the owners of the first places on international titles, provided that it reaches the rate of points for the minimum required in the international classification.
He noted that the gains are many in the forefront of the Arab Assembly with the presence of this number of Arab countries participating in addition to the technical and organizational gains and experiences gained in such events, which is what the Arab Federation is keen to organize all its heroism that interest in all elements of the game is not only the player, indicating that the Arab Federation is working hard to raise the efficiency and level of Arab players in addition to spreading the game and increasing the base to build generations that have competitiveness in all championships.
