المملكة: The Foreign Minister discusses developments in the Gaza Strip with his British counterpart

His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received, at the headquarters of the Kingdom’s permanent delegation to the United Nations in New York, today, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Commonwealth and Development in the United Kingdom, David Lami, on the sidelines of the high -level international conference on the peaceful settlement of the Palestinian issue and the implementation of a two -state solution at the ministerial level, which the Kingdom heads in partnership with the Republic of France.
At the beginning of the reception, the Foreign Minister welcomed the important declaration of Britain and its intention to recognize the Palestinian state and support it for the two -state solution. He also discussed and his British counterpart all the efforts made to reduce the human suffering in the Gaza Strip.

During the reception, the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries were reviewed, and the developments of the situation in Palestine were discussed, ways to enhance joint work and coordinate positions on the international scene in support of Palestinian rights.
After that, 3 memoranda of understanding were signed to complete the Kingdom’s continuous role in supporting the Palestinian issue, the brotherly Palestinian people, and the reform program launched by the Palestinian government in various fields
