المملكة: 6 training days and 5 dates for nomination … a new educational plan to qualify education employees
The Ministry of Education announced the launch of its training plan for administrative job occupants in cooperation with the Institute of Public Administration, which extends during the period from August until the end of November 2025, as part of its efforts to raise the efficiency of its employees in the education departments and the Ministry’s office, through specialized training programs that are compatible with work needs and institutional administrative development trends, and contribute to achieving the targets of the Kingdom’s vision 2030.
Ministry employees and leaders programs
The training plan includes a number of programs directed at the targeted groups of ministry employees and leaders, within a tight timeline that includes the announcement of the plan, the reception of nominations, the implementation of the programs, and the end of the training stage, where the plan is officially announced on Monday 28 July 2025, with the reception of nominations for the month of August and September on Tuesday 12 August 2025, and the implementation of the programs actually begins on Sunday 24 August. 2025.
It was also determined on Thursday 4 September 2025 as a final date to receive the nominations for October programs, and the nomination for the November programs will be closed on Thursday 2 October 2025, while the current training phase ends completely on Thursday 27 November 2025, according to the approved plan.
Specific controls for nomination
The plan included accurate controls for the nomination process, the most prominent of which is that the nomination is available for short programs for employees of administrative jobs on the ladder of public employees, wage item employees, and public supervisors from those in charge of administrative work, while the applied programs for supervisory leaders were allocated from the tenth rank or higher, in addition to the general supervisors.
The employee is entitled to run for a training period not exceeding 6 days during the year, provided that the training programs are compatible with the tasks of actual work, and priority is granted to nomination to attend the general programs for employees of the regions in which these programs are held. The official employees in the cultural authorities are also available to apply for the programs implemented from remotely, according to what is determined by the plan designated for them.
As for the criteria for the comparison between the applicants, they include several elements, including: the linking of the training program to the reality of the work, and the priority of those who have not previously obtained training, followed by the least training, with the exception of the programs presented through the business center. The date of the employee’s obtaining his current rank is also taken into account, and preference is granted to supervisory leaders from the eleventh rank or higher, followed by the employees of the non -supervisory ranks, then those in charge of administrative work.
Steps to nominate according to the employer
The Ministry of Education clarified that the nomination mechanism varies according to the candidate’s employer. In education departments, the candidate’s journey begins to determine the targeted programs after reviewing the announced plan, and then raising the approved nomination forms to the training department in human resources, which in turn shall check the data and review the extent of fulfilling the conditions and apply the criteria of the comparison. The beneficiary is then notified of acceptance through the official communication channels of the Institute of Public Administration, such as the electronic portal or text messages.
In the Ministry’s office, the beneficiary submits the nomination request via the allocated link, and it shall raise the approved form on his part to the General Administration for the Development of Human Resources, which shall check the nominations and apply controls, provided that the final notice is accepted by the Institute of Administration.
Apology procedures
The Ministry confirmed that an apology for attending training programs must take place at least 10 days before the start of the training, by sending the request via email allocated to the project:
[email protected]And no apology is accepted after this period, unless there is an emergency circumstance such as the health or death, provided that it is attached to what is proven, and in the event of delaying the provision of an apology, the employee is excluded from the nomination for any of the approved training programs during the year 2025.
The Ministry of Education stated that registration is currently paper by filling the nomination form and raising it to the human resources management, provided that the electronic system is later shifted to the service as soon as the service is activated.
Candidacy is available to all employees on the ladder of public employees, public supervisors, supervisory leaders, and wage item employees, provided that the specific controls are adhered to.
Submission procedures and exclusion violations
The Ministry also stressed that the new training plan comes within a development strategy that cancels the work of the previous training plan, and it is required that the seats allocated through the project be applied only, with confirmation that the admission notification is officially sent via the number registered in the nomination system.
In the event that the employee faces any technical problems during application, he can communicate with the technical support of the Institute of Administration or via an enrichment platform, and the reports can be submitted to serve the “communication of the beneficiaries” in the event that the problem is not addressed.
The Ministry confirmed that violating the data entered or disturbing what was stated in the pledge in the nomination card leads to the exclusion of the candidate, noting that the applied relationship programs are also available for supervisory jobs from the educational staff (the general supervisors of the administrative work), while the cultural authorities are available only to apply for the programs implemented, according to a separate plan.
This training plan comes in the context of the Ministry of Continuing Education’s commitment to developing the capabilities of its employees, and raising the level of administrative performance in the educational sector, by providing fair and organized training opportunities that take into account specializations, enhance professional readiness, and contribute to building national competencies capable of leading institutional transformation in the ministry and its affiliated entities.
