Al -Watan Cup inaugurates the season of the “strong hand” September 2

Today, Wednesday, the Competitions Committee of the Emirates Handball Federation conducted the draw for the new sports season competitions 2025-2026 for the league competitions for the groups of men, youth, juniors, cubs and children, at the Federation’s headquarters Dubai.
The lottery ceremony was attended by the Secretary -General of the Hand Union, Nasser Al Hammadi, the technical expert of the federation, Eng. Assem Al -Saadani, and representatives of the clubs participating in the competitions.
The “Al-Watan Cup” championship inaugurates the men’s season on the second of next September, which is the postponed championship from last season 2024-2025, and it will be held by the defeated exit system, with the participation of 6 teams, where the youth of Al-Ahly and Sharjah qualified directly for the semi-finals, while the lottery was held for the remaining four teams, and the imposition of Dibba Al-Hosn meeting with Al-Wasl and the winner of them meets the youth of Al-Ahly in the Golden Square, while Al-Nasr meets with Maliha and the winner meets them Sharjah, knowing that the final of the tournament will be held on September 9.
The “Al-Watan Cup” champion qualifies for the title of the UAE “Super Cup”, which is qualified for the “UAE-Bahraini Super Cup”.

Men’s League September 20
The men’s league will start next September 20 with the participation of 7 clubs and take place from three roles, and the lot resulted in the drawing of the map of confrontations, and begins in the opening round by meeting Dibba Al -Hosn with Al -Wasl, Al -Ahly youth with Al Dhaid, and Sharjah with Al -Nasr.
